Meet Bundor Joseph
My name is Bundor Joseph. I am 17 years of age and was born in Kondobengu Village, Rankollie Clan, Foya Statutory District, Lofa County, Liberia.
I was told by my late mother who died during the war that, when I was at the age of two years, she left me in care of my grandfather and went on the farm. According to the story that I heard from other people in the village when I grew up, they said that my grandfather also was also into witchcraft at that time. It was in the absence of my mother that this grandfather gave me “something to eat” and before the end of the day I started vomiting. When my mother came home from the farm and saw me she started crying and the next day I was taken to a traditional herbalist. But sad to say that there was no improvement and this resulted into my becoming cripple up to today. As a young man when I think about my condition I feel very discouraged and sometimes try to keep away from other people. Presently, I do not have a good housing and also wearing (clothes) and I am single.
